Thanks for the advice rochguy. From what I can tell the price is heavily manipulated. For fun I just bought a hologram silver eagle. I have been listening to "the economy and U.S. Dollar is doomed" fear mongers too much I think. They say gold and silver will skyrocket as the U.S. Dollar gets devalued, which is has compared to other currencies although it's recently recovered some as oil has gone down. Hopefully this trend will continue. But there are so many factors involved that I don't think I'll ever understand macroeconomics very well. Anyway, I'm going to see Phil tonight so it really doesn't matter right now!!!

stay away from metals and stick w/ equities. what the hell does anyone know about gold? As Buffet says... "as far as I can tell, we go to Africa or somewhere else, dig a hole in the ground, take gold out, melt it down and form it into bars, take it to New York, dig another hole, bury the bars back in the ground and pay people to stand around and guard it. it has almost no utility". Listen to the man, you might as well buy baseball cards. There is no guessing where it will go and really no intrinsic gain in value over time. Put your money in an Index Fund from Vanguard (lowest fees around) and forget about it.

Sprinted out of the DSO show when I found out the Pats had tied it, that was quite a final drive, I think Cassel grew six years in qb maturity on that one. Gotta say the DSO was pretty fargin fun, they played 7/12/90 and Dan Healey was mixing sound, there were definitely some great Moments... but I had to see the game, haha

I think I take too many pictures. I just archived all the photos on my computer to disc, except a few that have not been uploaded to photobucket yet. I went from 2.8 gigs of free space to 11.4 gigs, DAMN! Still not a huge amount of space but for what I am used to and the fact that it is a hand me down computer makes me happy. No more downloading one show at a time.

there are insurance scams and lots of fraud for sure and lots of bad agents. but ya know we all hate to pray and we all hate to pay until you need it. i feel good when someone who pays me $500 a year for home insurance has a claim when there furnace puffs back and causes $20,000 of smoke damage to their house. or your in the hospital for a week, and you get a bill for $10,000, insurane is nice then too. You never really value insurance until you use it (get paid back so to speak) and use it wisely (no small claims)

I walked into wal-mart and almost puked when I seen the AC/DC Department. I guess geriatric Rock Stars need to find a way to keep the Money Machine rolling... Of course it would'nt stop me from seeing em live one more time... The Monig Arena would be an Awsome Venue for them... and it's only 1/2 mile from home.... Best shows there for me so far has been RUSH......all 3 times... But the best show they'll ever put on there is When I hit the Powerball and Flip the bill for a Full Week of Creek Shows there... and the best part is that it would be free admission... Moe, yuch! I just found out why you asked that! Went over my head yesterday. No I didn't and wasn't aware it happened at the time.
