Saturdays show... for me, it was a milestone. I finally got my ma n pa, cousins, aunts and uncles to a creek show. As they played the soundtrack from my life I looked around and seen some familiar faces and tons of locals all having a great time. From the 7 year old dancing like it was Tommy's illigitamite love child to the drunk ladies falling down front stage, good good times. The $40 wine tent... all you can drink, needless to say, the red nosed people emerging from this area were ready to throw down. The scenery was perfect as was the weather. The set list, a typical one of a saturday afternoon creek show. Emerald Eyes seemed to choke X up a bit in the beginning. My father was most impressed by mmmmark. "That guy rocks!" Oh yes he does. If only I can get them to a living room show and show them what they are really like! Anyway, Thanks ewic, X and creek for a great time. Hope to see y'all at halloween and then the next day Flipper Dave!!

mmmk, my brain is a little slow today after the whirlwind trip yesterday. twas a very lonnnggg drive - but fun, haha~ so, the show was cool - warren did a good job but to me, i find the lack of that guitar center to be very apparent. set list was good & weir was doing some amazing things (except remember lyrics! haha). but the best part was seeing the boys together on the same stage again and the energy between them, especially billy & mickey as they were pumping the crowd. love when billy jumps up & down : ) AND nice to see scott & eric on stage left having a blast... in my head, all i could think of was 'if scott were playing...', but that's just me : D

Everything is exactly as it was originally, except for those 3 songs. They were almost unlistenable originally, but are pretty decent now. I don't know if this is the "final" version or not, that is up to bfree; I tagged Blood Red Roses as having audio problems too. I think he may redo the entire second set, but he will surely tell us himself. I would download and burn this version, even though there may yet be another. It may take him a while to do it.

I'm sorry Camp Creek Saturday has been offline for so long... I was having trouble integrating the three replacement files bfree sent me - the 3 Billy songs: Late in the Evening, U.S. Blues, and Truckin'. It's done now, and available for both downloading and streaming, including the three replacement files, which sound much better than the original ones. My my, what a beautiful hike we had @ the Quabbin - it did take a looong time before we found the water, haha, but it was well worth the trip - a great day, kind folks and some amazing sights... mornin' saturday was good. good turnout too for the first set anyway, mostly locals it seemed. i'd guess there was between 1 and 2 thousand there at one point. Quabbin Res. is in central MA, it's freaking huge!! I've been in an area near the Quabbin in Belchertown, I think we were in/near Hardwick Ma yesterday~ we are in an abandoned town called Dana, Skeets was a great tour guide, he wore a tie and everything. :)

Stiney, we did make it to Lobsterz on Sat. (thanks for the magnet Ken) Good show, very crowded, probably 30-50% more people than the s + m gig, We were actually hoping that it would be less crowded. Sweet version of Tough Mama in the first set, Great St. Stephen in the second, 2 drummers, all electric, I was the only one out in the apple field listening to Reggae(Usually there are tons)

Hey Wilson... I thought I might have spotted you at one point. Very cool. At sunset we carted around the lake to look back at the view of the venue, and there was this brilliant ganja cloud hovering like a dense low-lying fog trapped in the basin of LA, only much more enviro friendly. :)b It was a spectacular sight!!!... wish we had a camera. oooooh, and when Jen Durkin said that the night was only going to get weirder... Sorry to have missed the Creek, but I went to DamnSam's 14th Annual NY Harvest Festival & Freedom Fair/Political Rally in Hancock, NY this weekend. http://damnsam.com/ It's the main fundraiser for NY NORML. OMG!!! What an AMAZING and ultra kind event and the venue itself was one of the nicest camping spots I've attended! Anyone been? 'twas a bit chilly at night, but raised campfires were allowed and with many many thanks, DBB offered up cabin space for us. Nice to see some familiar worm faces too. Cheers! I have a great Vision Of Johanna on a 2 disc det called "Garcia Plays Dylan". It a compilation of of all different Jerry projects doing a bunch of Dylan. It's got JGB, Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jerry and Merle. I think the Visions if from a 93 dead show, but I lost the case to the CD, so I'm not 100% positive. But it is definately the best one I have in my collection.

hmmm flac...won't even let you install? sounds like a 32bit incompatibility with the 64bit os? no sound? not sure, could be several things. check the motherboard's site again, but this time, sound drivers for 64bit XP, usually they make both 32 and 64 bit. who told you to install 64bit xp pro? that would not be my first choice, bc of the incompatible issues betwixt the 32bit and 64bit programs and drivers.

I would say 2-3 start time based on last time, and considering the long drive for them. Be safe, come early. Free chair lift rides to check out the colors. sk... while amazingly drastic, the short term market movements don't worry me. It's the underlying fundamentals of huge debt and trade deficit that will hurt us in long run. One thing that will get politicians to notice is when they are booted out of office. While I think I am a fiscal conservative and social moderate, I dont think the difference between the political parties is as wide as they, us and the media would make it out to be. So why not get rid of all of them and start over. How bout it everyone? Then we must stay engaged.. I will draft my letters on various topics I believe in - debt reduction, trade deficit, energy research, cancer research, lower taxes in NYS (this state is out of control) and mail em over and over and over and over. Hope everyone finds their cause - don't be petty now and hammers it home.

certainly the severity of economic issues was the biggest driver for congress to act so fast, but amazing the level of response from constituents. I've decided to write all my congressmen, senators at state (NY) and federal levels to make clear my concerns and expectations. I will change the date on the letters and resend every single week until I see/hear something concrete. Time to take our govt back. For Feds will have to narrow my topics down. Economically it seems to me our biggest issues are Debt and Trade Deficit. Many seem overwhelmed by fancy economic terms, but seems clear to me. You don't spend more than you make. really quite simple. What are they going too about it. I wanna know.

oh yea,i went 4 a job in wista atta school 4 messed up kids.. i observed and did well....they wanted me..it was tough hrs but i got weekends off....they told me my criminal check was no good...i told them i have been outta trouble since 99 which is true...but i got 2 dismissed cases....1 buying 4 a minor.. and a pot one but Marty,my lawyer got them DISMISSED!!..i was innocent in the minor case..and the other a big roach...they search 4 a half hr! But..thats watt i paid Marty 4 and he did it.. but the dismissed sh!t still comes up..!!!!!. sooo they got scared and declined 2 hire me... thats a bitch...!

so hsb was awesome..greg got us passes so we could go anywhere..i got to meet emmylou harris, alison brown, loudan wainwright, iris dement, ( i'd love to see her and Mmmmak play together, t'would be amazing and elvis costello..he is the nicest guy/musician i've ever met, his kids r just as awesome too!! my word what a great festy..oh yeah also met maura o'connell too..all of them we so down to earth and nice and none of them had bugs up there butts thinkin' they were better than there fans..absolutely amazing!!!!!! but they weren't Max Creek..they'd fit in nicely there..but Scott and Mark, that would be the perfect place for them to play imho of course, and i believe they'd blow peeps minds out there!!

I watched that off the grid movie a while back, good stuff, I liked all the broken down cars on the ride in. Just left where they died. Oh and hey BobbyT..I jusss went dvd huntin' in Wista and i scored a used vcr tape of Aerosmith Summa Jam 78 in Dallas.....i had this on vcr when i was younga it's filled with gems,a pure tear up,kick u in the nads kinda show.. essential Aerosmith on a good nite!......Thangfish might be familiar 2,its completely outta print...Eds gonna make a CD out of it!!.....y dontcha eva call me Bob...hahaha....off 2 the dinah......good day folks!

OHohohoh,i stopped bakk home 2 grab a show....HELL,it's the anniversary of 10-9-89....did ass-kay already say this....watt a day in Dead history!!....i let a cute tour rat make me grilled cheeses and tomato sangys all day n nite instead of goin' 2 look 4 a tick..The back rubs were great but if only i hadda clue..doh....anyway home 2 grab that second set.....how tyme flies huh kids?
