Messages for March 16-31, 2008
The Queen visits a major hospital to open a new ward.
She is shown around first by a nurse so she can inspect the facilities.
On her way, she hears orgasmic groans coming from a nearby room.
She goes to the room to investigate and, upon arriving, finds that a man is masturbating on the bed.
She asks the nurse "Why is that man doing that?"
The nurse replies "Oh, he's got to relieve himself every so often because he has a disorder."
"Oh, OK then," the queen said, and moved on, but on the way she hears more orgasmic groans.
She looks in the room and sees a nurse giving a man a blowjob.
The queen asks her escort "Why is that nurse giving that man a blowjob?"
Her nurse escort says "Oh, he's got the same disorder as the man before, only this one's got health insurance!"

Bosco,I have read in newer legislation that they can enter without warrant, and while you are not at home! But last I knew that action was only permissable against those receiving state assistance. They can check for "conditions of living",including dr** activity.Maybe someone else can concur? Not well publicized, and for good reason.

I just found out that a couple of ATF agents came to the house the other day to talk to the boy about being a witness in a case. By the time he went downstairs to let them in, they were already in the middle of out basement. I am ripping mad at this. I got the cell number of one of the agents and just called him. He said because our door was unlocked, he could come in. When I pressed him on this issue, he said the door was open, therefore he could come in. Even if the door was gone, I would say they have no right to enter some ones house without a warrent. Any input on this??? I plan on going down there first thing Monday to speak with a supervisor on this.

Buzz, the thing is, those numbers that are recorded are in Concord. Yesterday, they got 2.8 inches, and we got 6. It is like that all the time. I am sure we are well over 150 here, and I am sure Hill is more then that. My friend is buying a lodge up in Stewartstown and they have gotten more 270 inches this year...just crazy!!!

Feeling like winter again up here, especially with 6 new inches of snow. We are now in the 2nd snowiest winter of all time with 115 inches of snow. Only winter with more was 134 years ago at 121. Considering we average more then 9 inches in April, we stand a good chance of breaking the record.

It was getting a little out of control. Next thing you know drunk people were trying to take over. The drums was really good last night. I love dual drummers!

thanks I think ur right about the sbd and the bass... yeah, the band would have to get something if their music is whats generating the sale.
rochguy
- Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 09:40:31 (EDT) [74.74.250.91]
I'm no expert, but I think that sometimes board tapes are light on the bass because the board reflects what the soundman is hearing in the room. Maybe John's cabinets are loud enough that the levels of the other instruments must be increased to give a balanced sound. So, less bass is heard through the board. Now, digiboard mixes in the bass to give that full sound. PZen's matrices get a similar effect with the aud mic synced to the board. I am sure I am incorrect in some of this or I'm not painting the whole picture as clear as it could be, but they do a great service and the discs sound nice. I do not know the logistics of who gets what but I would think that the band gets a portion of the proceeds.

Bob - wow.. i never heard of digitalsoundboard.com before. Hard to tell on my laptop computers speakers, but the samples did sound better. Are they cleaner, louder, than whats on archive? sometimes boards have no bass. Does a hunk of the cash go to the band? If so, my credit card is gonna be put to use.

Not that anyone was talking about songs they'd like to hear Creek play, but... I've always thought they could do something special with "Brother Can You Spare a Dime." I'm listening to a jazz rendition on the radio right now, and it just doesn't capture the angst of the song... not the way the Creek could.

JARdale, I used to see a couple of guys play acoustic at my local watering hole. "The Guitar Dudes" and they did a parody of "the Number of the Beast" the same way. 667, the neighbor of the beast. It cracked me up the first time I heard it. So, after that if I wasn't there yet, they would wait for me to get there and then immediately break into either that or "Why does it hurt when I pee" by Zappa. Fun Times!

This year's term was Political Correctness.

My concert calendar has derek Trucks and Susan T. Playing the highland Bowl on July 11. Looks like there may be back to back music playing in a venue I am yet to visit. I still wonder how the Bowl is gonna accomodate the masses. As far as the Lilac festival goes....Donna the Buffalo on 5-11.....Bette Levette on 5-15 and........ BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet on 5-16

Ahhhh… Texas! 2 sweeeeet nights of my music to add to my memorabilia and a near death experience all wrapped into one great weekend! There was another guitarist? Oooooh yeah right. (; I love both X & Gordon, so for me the experience was bliss. El Buho and his trumpet added a nice twist. Plus the pictures don’t lie.. I’ll have to dig those out to post. Antonio’s was packed both nights! So much fun the first night and day, nearly slept right through the second night’s show. Sold Out!!! But with some sweet talkin' (and a near tear) we got in. Thanks Pickle. We’ll always have the Alamo. You could even say that Eric and I shared a moment on the ride back to the hotel that night. One I’ll always treasure.(;

They did one of those el buho shows and texas and another at bb king's in nyc I think that's it. My buddy called me at 7 pm to see if I wanted to drive down there. It was a work-night but I went anyway. I got home at 6:30 am and went to work for 8am. But it was well worth it. We couldn't even afford to sit at a table at bb kings though. $20 per person per set minimum. Killer show though.

He introduced the band, there was another guitar player, perry something, mike Gordon on bass, a keyboard player, jeff sipe on drums and el buho. Did he play anything else other than trumpet? How many gigs did you sit in for? It seemed like a very high energy show, did you like playing in that band? I know pickle was there, anyone else?

http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-10546823R-bulkeley_house-i......this place on Bank Street in New London CT, is a restaurant with an open-faced tiki-type bar outdoors that seats like 25 people at the bar plus table seating, with an adjacent courtyard stage open-aired/no roof with a permanent lighting rig set up.Looks like it would easily fit 250-300 people for an evening springtime outdoor gig..They were pinched in september for sale to a minor, losing some buisness for a bit,so they probably would be interested in some buisness about now.The outdoor stuff was just finished being built last summer.

I finally got it to work, but it sucks using the keyboard. I have a controller with USB connectivity but it won't recognize it. SK, How about Dave Concepcion, I think he should be in the HOF but they dont appreciate defense. On a sad note, my baseball autographed by L.Tiant, R Petrocelli, and Jim Rice has been somewhat defaced by my Lab. Its like my own bad episode of The Sandlot except my 14 yr old son who I let hold the ball shows no remorse. Finally, the first member of the band I met was Rob Fried at Camp Creek 2001. My wife and I were up at the payphones over the top of the hill trying to make a collect call, but you still needed a quarter. We scrounged her purse and found 1 lonely quarter and used it. As we finished Rob came up and tried to make a call but didn't have a quarter. He bitched and asked if we had one and we told him how we just used our only one. We talked for a moment about how odd that was that you still needed a quarter for a collect call and then went along on our way.

Wet T-shirt Contest WITHOUT t-shirts or Pants, sure does need a fence to keep the bad ass bikers back. The crowd gets real surly about 10:00 PM on Saturday nite of the Rendevous in late June. That is the main event at Indian Lookout Country Club. I do not even like being in the crowd when the contest begins as the atmosphere is MALE Chavenist PIGGY.
But all in good fun, haha!
Much better vibe at Camp Creek.

When you're a Jet,
You're a Jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin' day.
When you're a Jet,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You're a family man!
You're never alone,
You're never disconnected!
You're home with your own:
When company's expected,
You're well protected!
Then you are set
With a capital J,
Which you'll never forget
Till they cart you away.
When you're a Jet,
You stay a Jet!

Today’s Player Profile – Dave Kingman: he was a statistical anomaly. It seemed that he either hit a homer or struck out. He was never good enough to play on good teams, he spent his career as a freak show on bad teams. It was said that he looked like he was falling out of a tree everytime he swung and missed, which was often. He was also known as a surly, moody person who wasn’t liked at all by his teammates. He was a 3 time all star, only because each team needed to be represented at the al star game. He ended his career with 901 runs scored, 1,575 hits, 240 doubles, 442 homers, 1,210 rbi with 2 seasons over 100. His batting average was only .236, his OB % was .302 while the league average was .329. His Slugging average was .478 compared to the league’s average of .389. He hardly ever walked but was a prolific “k” artist. He led the league in strikeouts 3 times, was runnerup 3 times and has 3 more seasons in the top 5 in strikeouts. If by chance he hung around long enough to hit 500 homers, I still would not put him in the HOF. In his 1st year of HOF eligibility 3 people (must have been related to him) out of 430 voted for him, he never appeared on the ballot again. Baseball was a better game after 1986, the last season Kingman played.

hey pickle .. right click somewhere on your desktop that's not an icon and choose personalize. Then on the left click "default font size" .. make sure it's set to default scale. You can also go in to display resolution and mess with the slider until it looks right. more towards the left makes stuff bigga, to the right makes it smaller

You might want to try "System Restore." What this does is restore your computer to a previous date when it had the correct settings. Be brave; remember, it is only the computer - you are the master! Okay...well, how about we just say it's easy to do. Go to: Start Menu, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then "System Restore."
Just follow the prompts to the list of restore points and pick the most recent date before this happened. See how easy? If that doesnt work there's even another way to do it.

going way down to JCMC post about Fires at Woodstock Valley Lodge - that was my first "Volunteer" gig for Steve McKay... he handed me - yes - a 5 gallon bucket and said fill it with water; if you see a fire dump it on the fire, then come back, and repeat.

I introduced myself to MMMark 3-7-90 at the Living Room. I asked if he would play that song about Howard Johnson's that I'd heard 10/89, and he did, and the show turned into an "oldies" show.

Stretchy..tried that, still no go (I even restarted and checked and that large icon box is unchecked for sure). I called the boy and from what I can get out of him it did shut down and restart and he may have started it in "safe" mode, how do I get back to normal?? If you want me to call ya, just say so and I will. As always, thanks to the IT man!!

Today’s Player Profile – George Foster: George had his breakout season at age 26 with the Reds with 23 homers, 78 rbi and batted .300. he became a devastating force the next few years, then tacked on 5 – 6 really solid years after that. In 1977 he hit 52 home runs, the first player to do that since the great willie mays in the 60’s, the act would not be repeated again until cecil fielder in 1990. George was the feared slugger (even more so than Johnny Bench) on those great reds teams of the 70’s. He was a 5 time all star and finished 1,2, 3 & 6 in MVP voting. He finished his career with 986 runs scored, 1 season over 100, 1,925 hits, 307 doubles, 348 homers, 1,239 rbi – 3 seasons over 100, and batted .274. he struck out quite a bit and walked less than ½ the time he k’d. his on base percentage was .338 while the leagues was .331, but his slugged .480 while the league average was .387. He had a grand total of 3 sacrifice bunts in 18 seasons (hey, you don’t ask jerry to play rhythm guitar, you don’t ask george foster to bunt!)
