Project Object fucking ROCKS!!! Best Zappa tribute band out there. I just saw them at The World Cafe' in Philly. Ike Willis wasn't with them this tour but Napolian was there. Rin actually just got off the road with them. She was their merch girl for the last 10 days of the tour. All I could thin when I was watching them was how fucking cool would it be if they played at Camp Creek. Plus if Urchin isn't on tour they would have the mighty Seahag whaling on guitar. They have Eric Slick on drums now. He was Adrian Belew's drummer. The kid kicks it hard. Ike should be back for the next tour if all goes well. I took a bunch of pics at the show. Elvis Costello has been touring with Bob Dylan since late September, opening the shows as a solo performer before giving way to Dylan and his sextet. Last night in St. Louis marked the first and what many hope will not be the last on-stage collaboration between the two artists. Following a fourteen song set from Dylan and his band at the Fox Theatre, Costello and Dylan emerged bearing acoustic guitars to perform "Tears Of Rage" as a duo (the song written by Dylan and the Band's Richard Manuel, first appeared on the Basement Tapes). Dylan's full band then returned for a second encore of "Thunder On The Mountain" and "All Along The Watchtower." With any luck Costello and Dylan will do it again, perhaps on Wednesday in Iowa City, IA.

again, thank you all....she has seen a chiropractor but wants to see a physical therapist instead. her friend (that i was riding with) is a massage therapist and is doing what she can. she was given a few different drugs from the er doc but they knock her on her ass. not good with a 3 yr old. and when she got out of her drug haze on monday the first person she called was kirschenbaum & kirschenbaum...they're all over this one! hopefully the settlement will compensate for the suffering. the worst part for her is her fiance is in iraq right now and she can't even talk to him. ...i wasn't injured in the accident, just saw it all happen right before my eyes...what a horrible experience. and do you know the first words out of her mouth when i raced to the car? thru tears and fear she said "mom! go make sure that girl is ok!!" (the one that hit her) you believe that? she's such a good girl.

the numbness in her arm is most likely due to both or either the C4/C5 vertebrae out of place, I know this one very well.

tammy she probably has classic whiplash, severely traumatized soft tissue, and perhaps a cervical vertebrae or two out of place. I would consult a recommended chiropractor or/and an osteopath who performs manipulations. after the vertebrae has been put back into place she will need rest, massage, ice. the massage is extremely important to try and loosen damaged or stretched soft tissue. NASIDs (like advil) will help the symptoms but not the cause -- probably icing will be just as effective -- frozen peas are most effective for pain/swelling.

i know i'm only a distant cousin to this family but please send out healing vibes to my daughter cira, she was in a bad car accident (in the middle of the day and sober) last sunday. she was helping me and was rear-ended. i was in the car 2 cars ahead of her with my grandson and her friend who was driving and traffic was stopped ahead due to another accident. we stopped very quickly, the corvette behind us did as well, then my daughter did. the car behind her never even applied her brakes! when we stopped i said "oh no" and turned around just in time to see my car leave the ground on impact. it was the most frightening site to see your child involved in a car wreck. they took her in the rescue. fortunately she only suffered severe whiplash (didn't hit the windsheild or anything) but she's in alot of pain. no injuries to the girl that hit her. but both cars were totalled. now i have no wheels and can't get to work, so i'm home today.

I'm not sure about that Van Halen clip. I sounds like the bass is in tune with the keys but the guitar is off. Maybe the roadie handed Eddie the wrong guitar that was tuned for a different song? Either way it is brutal. How could they not know while they were playing? They should have stopped and fixed it or something. Given the crowd an impromptu extra song. Lame way to end a show.

sorry about troubles out west and glad family folks are safe... sorry to also hear about driving in "enhanced state". don't mean to be a preacher, but guess i will - we're mindful of the fires but seem reckless with something that ends far more lives. please call a cab - sorry seen the bad end of it too closely
